5a. Use of third-party AI tools

In delivering our services, Celtic AI may use third-party AI tools including Claude (Anthropic, Inc.) and ChatGPT (OpenAI, LLC) for the purposes of demonstration, content creation, and workflow automation.

We will not input your personal data into any third-party AI tool without your express prior consent.

Where personal data is transferred to AI tool providers based in the United States, Celtic AI ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as adopted by the European Commission, in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.

If you have questions about our use of AI tools, contact hello@celticai.ie.

5b. Marketing and business outreach data

If you have received a business introduction email from Celtic AI, we are processing a limited set of your business contact details — typically your name, work email address, company name and county. We obtain this information from publicly available business sources (such as company websites and business directories).

Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): we have a legitimate commercial interest in introducing a relevant business service to businesses likely to benefit from it, and we have assessed that this does not override your rights. We have carried out and documented a Legitimate Interest Assessment, which you may request a summary of by emailing hello@celticai.ie.

We send at most an initial email and two short follow-ups. You can opt out at any time — simply reply "STOP" or "unsubscribe" to any message, or email hello@celticai.ie, and we will remove your details from our outreach list immediately and permanently.

Your rights: You have the right to object to this processing at any time (Article 21 GDPR), as well as the right to access, rectify, or erase the data we hold about you. If you ask us to stop, we keep only the minimum record needed to ensure we do not contact you again. If we do not hear from you and you do not engage, we delete or anonymise your details within 12 months of our last contact.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Account data: for as long as your account is active, or up to 2 years after last login
  • Demo enquiry data: 12 months
  • Anonymised analytics: up to 26 months

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@celticai.ie. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (DPC) at dataprotection.ie.
