Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This policy sets out the refund and cancellation terms for paid products and services provided by Celtic AI. It is incorporated into our Terms of Use by reference.

Celtic AI is committed to being fair and transparent. If you have a concern about a purchase, please contact us at hello@celticai.ie before requesting a refund — in most cases we can resolve issues directly.

2. Free services

The Celtic AI for Beginners course, free demo calls, and any other services explicitly marked as free carry no charge and therefore no refund terms apply.

3. Paid digital courses

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022, you have the right to cancel a paid digital course purchase within 14 days of the purchase date.

However, by accessing the course content (i.e. starting any lesson), you expressly consent to waiving your 14-day cancellation right. This is standard for digital content under EU consumer law.

If you have not accessed any course content, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing hello@celticai.ie with your order details.

4. Workshops and training sessions

The following cancellation terms apply to paid in-person or remote workshops and training sessions:

• More than 7 days before the session: Full refund, or free rescheduling to a future date.
• 3–7 days before the session: 50% refund, or free rescheduling.
• Less than 3 days before the session: No refund. Rescheduling is at Celtic AI's discretion.
• No-show without notice: No refund.

If Celtic AI cancels or reschedules a session, you will be offered a full refund or a free alternative date.

5. Consulting and project engagements

For fixed-price consulting projects:

• Any deposit paid is non-refundable once work has commenced.
• If Celtic AI is unable to deliver the agreed scope through no fault of your own, a pro-rated refund will be issued for any prepaid work not yet delivered.

For time-and-materials or day-rate engagements, you are billed only for time worked. No refund applies to completed work.

6. Subscriptions and retainers

• Subscriptions and retainer arrangements may be cancelled by either party with 30 days' written notice.
• No refund is provided for partial months already paid.
• If Celtic AI terminates a subscription without cause, a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the current billing period will be issued.

7. How to request a refund

To request a refund or cancellation, email hello@celticai.ie with:

• Your name and email address used for the purchase
• The product or service you purchased
• The date of purchase
• The reason for your request

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer law, including the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive. If you believe your statutory rights have not been respected, you may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) at ccpc.ie.
